While my daughter was off in West Virginia working for the Appaliachian Service Project, I made a few changes at home.
First I replaced the printer. Although I will admit it was not until after I had expended way too much time on trying to fix the old one.
Next the router was upgraded. I had grown tired of giving out the secure guest password.
Then the phone was replaced. The old battery didn’t hold a charge and we kept misplacing the handset. Which isn’t bad, unless the old battery doesn’t hold a charge the phone goes dead, making it impossible to use the page feature.
My daughter was only gone for a week and came home to a bunch of upgrades.
Her response? “What are you going to do when I go to college? Redo the entire house?”
It’s a thought.
